What is your favorite lake to bass fish in Mississipi and why?

I myself like Ross Barnett just because its always changing and I learn more like that.  What about yourself?

At this point it would be Ross Barnett, too. For pretty much the same reason you said. I'm still learning it, but I know it better than 3 years ago when I first started. It's close. I can be there and in the water in 20 minutes. But for fun and sure fire bass I like to go to a private lake in Panther Creek. Not very big and they can only be in a few places, so it's not very hard to find them. The only trick is figuring out how to get them to bite. I'm also partial to neshoba county lake. Clear water and all different kinds of cover with the potential for big fish.

Where is Panther Creek located?  I have been wanting to go to Neshoba but haven't made it yet.  Have you caught some pretty good ones there?

Panther creek is between lake caroline and canton. There are a bunch of small private lakes. Neshoba has produced a couple of 15 pounders in the last few years. I haven't personally caught one, but they have big ones there.

I didn't drown!!! Lol. I had 1 fish. I found a ton of shad, but couldn't get anything to bite. I know there had to be fish in the area. I didn't do something right.
